Thin, Strong Backing

Purchased 50 lb to spool up my 12-weight for Dolphin offshore. Cortland Master Braid is thin and strong, and ties solid knots. Surface is a little rough, but if you're into your backing, you'd better be working that reel. Will purchase some 30 lb for my 4 and 8 weights in the future. Probably will be the only backing I ever need.

Thin backing for a small reel
Date:
Light rods, small reels are at times a difficult combination. With little room left on the reel for backing you need the finest backing you can find, and this is it.
