Been a professionl flyfishing instructor for forty years now and I use Cortland Micron Fly Line Backing on all my trout and salmon rods including my student rods I provide for my classes. The quality is outstanding and it not only gives you a good cushion for the fly line but it is smooth and strong for us fly fisherman who fish the big fish, that take your fly line and 150 yards of backing before we can start the retrieve....just quality at it's best.... Highly reccomend.
