This stripper does a good job but is not super powerful. I used it to remove line from 12 reels and it does fine until there's resistance on the line then it quits stripping. The one I owned previously was better at pulling line off in those instances. Also have to be careful that the line you're stripping is kept away from moving parts or it creates a big snarl. Even with these minor aggravations this tool is better than hand stripping or rigging something up in my drill.

I probably should have sent it back, but didn't. When I tried to put batteries in it, they would not stay nor make contact. A spring on one end was missing. I would say do not by.
A cheap price for a cheaply made product.
