If you use it sparingly, it works great. It cuts the line quickly and eliminates frays. If you use it repeatidly, it eats AAA batteries very quickly and the tip will either break or melt down.

good, one minor thing.

The line cutter in general is a really good product and it cuts Fireline really well, compared to my dull plier cutters, leaves the line not frayed, only setback is that I dont like how the strap is to small for your neck and too big for your wrist. over all, good product.
