Loon Fast Cast Fly Line Dressing

After a long day of fly fishing your line can become extremely dirty and usually loses its tight, even wrap on the spool. This handy little tool allows you to quickly and easily clean and re-tighten your line for optimum fishing performance. Simply wrap the Velcro® strap around the rod grip, add a couple of drops of Stream Line™ cleaner and lubricator to the sheep skin pad, pull your line through the cleaning loop, slide the tension ring down to tighten the pad around your line and reel in. StreamLine and Line Speed are included with cleaner.

I'm a believer in cleaning and lubricating your fly line. I fish 4 and 5 day's a week, so my line gets really dirty with everything you can think of. This is a super product, I use it every time I fish, really makes a difference in how far you can send that fly.

The cleaning pad does not hold the line tight enough to do an acceptable cleaning of the fly line.

I have often treated fly lines with a tool after fishing until I bought this item. But, the tool I used to use was "Leader Straigner". I used to put line dressing on it and slide line into it. My first fly fishing instructor tought me that way. However, in that way, since the line often slided out of leader straigner, this job required me to be patient from giving up a custom of mentenance. I often wondered if my way to clean lines was not right. Today, I found the a special item for cleaning lines. This item released me not only from being patient but also from holding the tool in a hand. In addition, there was no chance too much dressing remains on lines. I hope to recommend this wonderful item to my past instructor.

line cleaner

This line cleaner worked very well. My floating flyline was sinking and I applied the cleaner. The line floated like a champ after 1 application. I would be lost without this product.
