My New Best OId Friend

Searching for a soul-satisfying, dark brown leather coat with rugged charisma and supple charm, I sent back (to other companies) no fewer than two such candidates. But this one you'll have to pry from my cold, dead fingers.
As much a pleasure to the fingers as to the eyes, my new best friend fits as if it had been tailored to my measurements. Fully buttoned, it leaves room for a light sweater while still affording a trim, feminine profile. The very lightly padded shoulders convey a certain insouciant sense of authority: not a masculine swagger, just a sure-of-herself vibe.
And the just-right distressing makes it look as if I've had it for ages. Which, a decade from now, will be true.
Cabelas, you just racked up a winner on my clothing scorecard. This one is NOT going back!

Best Leather coat

After hesitating for a couple of months I decided to risk purchasing this coat--chosing to go with the positive reivews. I was very pleasantly surprised. I really appreciate all the reviews and hope other buyers find this helpful. The coat is well constructed. The leather is butter soft and the perfect color. It's exactly what I had been searching for. Thank you!

I love the softness of this coat! The length is also terrific. Only drawback is that I had to go up a size because it was tight in the shoulders. Even going up a size the fit is great!

Loved this coat. Almost didn't order it because the review were 50/50. The leather is very soft and beautiful. I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly but I could see how a larger size might be heavy. So glad I bought it - many complements from friends (and even my husband). So glad you have finally put it on sale!
