The distinctive honeycomb texture of Polartec® Thermal Pro® and form-flattering shaping combine for efficient warmth and a stylish, feminine fit. Lofted fibers beneath Thermal Pro's honeycomb surface trap air for an extremely high warmth-to-weight ratio. Plus, Thermal Pro is highly breathable, fast-drying and 100% machine washable. Cordlock adjustment at center-front hood and sweep. Two zippered handwarmer pockets. Fold-over interior storm flap. 100% polyester. Imported. Sizes: S-2XL. Colors: Blue Dawn, Marshmallow.
I had my eye on this for awhile, and when it went on sale I finally pulled the trigger. On the plus side, the fabric is soft and lightweight and doesn't feel like fleece at all. It did have nice details like a draft flap behind the zipper, zippered pockets and a drawcord hem. That's about all the nice things I can say, and these features should be on a jacket in this price range anyway. It runs a size large so it looked shapeless on. I wasn't crazy about the Marshmallow color, it was a little darker than expected. I suspect the honeycomb fabric would snag and pull easily. There was an overall cheap feel to it, particularly with the cuffs, which could have used thumbholes. I don't know how warm this would be, either, and Polartec Thermal Pro isn't wind resistant. Cabela's brand items are usually priced reasonably compared to the competition and I like Polartec in general so I was expecting a lot more for the retail price. I don't think it's even worth the sale price.
