Mann's PROtein® Leech

These leeches have the look and taste of the real thing to tempt walleye out of the weeds. A specially created formula is added to each PROtein Leech to replicate the flavor of a real leech. When a walleye strikes, it won't know the difference. An air pocket inside these soft plastic lures makes them buoyant for rigs and produces a swimming action that resembles live bait. Per 15.

amazing for bass

spend the xtra money for the gulp. This leech is very stiff and thick.

Fake vs Real

Used both live leeches and Mann's Leechs on recent fly-in Canadian fishing trip. Caught walleye on both while jigging and the Mann's worked just as well as the real leeches. Even caught a northern pike on the Mann's. The Mann's don't bite your hand either!

PROtein leach

The tail didn't move in the water as freely as I had hoped. I tried it in a stream for trout even though it was probably more designed for walleyes in a lake.
The name is deceiving. PROtein led me to believe it was made of an organic/natural material and in a slimy liquid.
