Frog Hair Supple Butt Leaders - 3 Pack

An extremely supple butt section produces softer turn-over for the extremely delicate presentation needed to fool wary fish. With their superior knot strength, toughness and inherent shock resistance, these leaders have all the qualities you've come to expect from Gamma. The uniform taper includes a butt section that makes up 40% of the leader length for just the right amount of stiffness and weight. They come in 9-1/2-foot lengths and in a 3-pack. Perfection loop included.

Froghair makes quality products. Cabelas leaders are also nice just a bit more stiff. Good value as usual.

Lays down the fly nicely

I've used the Frog Hair Supple Butt Leader for a number of years for trout, panfish and bass. It lays the smaller dry flies down very nicely. Nymph fishing with them is good too, although I'd like the tippet to straighten out a bit more once the fly is in the water. For crappie, bluegill and bass, the tippet is just too soft. Cut it back and add a stiffer tippet like Climax and it will do a great job.

I have been using the Frog Hair for 2 years +. The three pack is a real bargin. Very nice presentation over a wide range of flies. Never had a problem with these leaders, very consistant.
