Good leader for steelhead

I used this leader on my last several trips to the Salmon River in NY. It is one of the thinnest 6 lb leaders I have found while being strong enough to fight a big steelie. It hasn't failed me yet.

Great on selective Trout

My wife and I fished the South Platte in Colorado recently. The fish are noted for being difficult and the use of fine tippets and small flies is mandatory. The Frog Hair Flourocarbon helped us fool a large number of fish on the trip and we saw ourselves catching and releasing fish on the river when others were not doing as well using the same patterns we were. I attribute that to the Fluorocarbon! This is great tippet materail that knots easily and the 6x tippets we were using held up well against the fish in 11 mile Canyon of the Platte.
