Ummmm...what do I do with this???

Okay, I take a lot of the blame here. I've historically tied a Surgeon's knot to attach my tippet to a pre-tapered leader.

But, I thought I'd take the next step and tie my own leaders...how hard could it be???

So I purchased this tool, along with the Umpqua tying kit. The problem? While I understand the basics of the blood knot, and can tie one in a pinch...I have no idea how to use this tool!

Did anybody consider sending instructions? I can't find any online. What do I do with this thing???!!!

Soooooo....what now. What a waste.

the tool was as expected. Makes a blood knot for tying leaders a snap.

Only negative was the price for shipping.

It's Great. I have been making my leaders for a short while, but could not tie a good blood knot. Now, I can make my leaders that due to the good blood knot, roll out the way it should.
It's kind of funny that something that was designed this easily works that well. And, it does work.
