P-Line CFX Fluorocarbon Leader

This leader is made of 100% fluorocarbon with a refractive index that's almost identical to that of water. The result is it's virtually invisible to fish. Along with eluding the eyes of prey, this leader is highly abrasion resistant, has a low stretch factor and has UV protectors of extended life. Tie a section between your line and bait you'll notice a higher percentage of hook-ups.

I can't remember who told me about P-Line CFX but I sure would like to thank him just as you will if you take my advice and try some. I also can't say enough about this stuff, just that it's Perfect leader material (for any underwater application). Everything P-Line advertises about this line is true. And besides that it's easy to work with. I tie my own leaders for nymph or streamer fishing and blood knots hold true as do Orvis Knots, twenty-six twenty, perfection loops, even Palomar and Tri-Lene knots. If the leader breaks, I know it's my fault, when using this leader material. You can also use it for topwater fishing by adding floatant to it but admittedly this spoils one of its major advantages - almost invisible underwater. I even think it's impervious to insect repellant and sun screen. What more can I say, go out and buy some!

My Confidence Leader

P-Line CFX is my "go to" leader for walleye jigging, rigging and Great Lakes trolling. I've used many different brands of fluorocarbon leader and mono for leaders. I don't feel confident with other leader material. I have 6, 8, 10, 15 & 20 lb. test on hand for every application. I don't want the big one to get away.

15lb test leaders for california halibut. works great and hold fish over 20lbs no problem. only twisted after i got snagged by a rookie fisherman 4 times.
