The Dietz lamp is both attractive and functional for my home. I originally purchased it as an emergency backup light in the event of a power outage. However, I have used is as a supplement because I simply like the ambiance it gives to the room.

Purchased 3 lanterns and filled them with Citronella oil. Placed them on corners of deck for light and mosquito control. Worked great!

Good functional and decorative lamp

This lamp puts out sufficient light and is very easy to use. I have had no trouble with any of them (bought 3). The design is very nice and the product looks good. I did not give this a five because of the glass bulb lifting rod. It feels a little weak but so far it has held up. Every time I lift the glass I feel like I am going to bend the lifting rod but maybe it is supposed to feel that way. Time will tell if this should have been a 5 instead of a 4 rating.

Truly a terrific value. Easy to use, great size, and fuel efficient. All replacement parts available and reasonably priced. The biggy, it does not rely on electricity. Can't beat it!
