StowMaster Saltwater Landing Net

A patented design lets you open, extend, fold and stow this compact, convenient net. Hoop opens quickly to slide the handle back, locking the hoop in place and preventing it from folding when the handle is extended. Rubber-dipped, knotless nylon netting is hookproof. The tracked extension handle automatically aligns the snap button. Handle has a nonslip grip. Snaps, buttons and screws are stainless steel.
Available:
  • Redfish/Snapper Net – 84"L with 24" x 28" hoop, stowed 14" x 40".
  • Guardian Trout/Redfish Net – 72"L with 20" x 24" hoop, stowed 11" x 34".

    Soooooooooo NOT Happy
    Date:
I'm glad someone likes this product but I AM NOT ONE!!!!!!!! I gave it 1 star because I couldn't give it a zero. I've had the net for less than 3 years and, today, the bow of the net broke. I have cheap nets that have been terribly abused and have never had a failure like this. I'm a full time guide and need my equipment to perform. Today the bow broke at the least opportune time causing the client to lose the fish of a lifetime. VERY disappointing.

    Great net
    Date:
Took this net out yesterday for the first time and was impressed. I was cocerned about a storage net being solid, but this one is. I liked the wieght, balance, feel, and the ability to put it in the bag and store it in the cuddy when done, without it tangling every thing in its path.
I sometimes have trouble with inexperienced guest that want to net a fish. The netting can get tangled onto the hook before it gets to the fish. There is a small metal ring at the bottom of this net, and if you take a rubber band and hold the ring to the shaft, and pull the net tight, it eliminates tangles. Then the rubber band pulls of with the wieght of the fish. I'm sure the ring wasn't put there for this purpose, but it works out great.
