EGO Series 2 Telescoping Net

Revolutionary handle extension technology offers much needed range. Simply push the release, pull the handle and watch the 56" slider handle extend up to an incredible 87". Choose from a lightweight, nontangle, hook-free rubber mesh netting or a coated, UV-resistant nylon netting. With a large 31" netting depth, ideal for bass and walleyes. Made in USA.

This net is a great concept which is why I bought it. Stores nicely in the boat but don't plan on landing anything larger than an 8 pound fish with it. First 38 inch northern on the first fishing trip after buying the net......SNAP net broke at the yoke and I could see where it broke that the net is made from cast aluminum, which is junk, and unrepairable material. I'd be willing to pay more money for this net if it was made of quality material, but my advice is don't waste your money unless you only pan fish.

2 trips on Lake Erie netting fish and this thing broke at handle. Nice concept but it will not take the beating a net should.

DO NOT BUY THIS NET!! I used it one time and the slider stuck, I have sent it back to Cabela's for exchange but I am NOT hopeful that the replacement will be any better!!

First time out fishing, the handle snapped when netting a fish. Returned to Cabelas, and the lady said they pulled the nets from the shelves because they are all being returned for same reason. Awesome slide and features, just need to reinforce some how...
