If you own a Lowrance HDS unit, I would highly recommend you purchasing Doctor Sonar educational DVD. The amount of information he shares is priceless. You can expect great details on how to run and also read your electronics like the pro's. I am a firm believer in Doctor Sonar and I own all his DVD's.

Great reference tool. He uses underwater filming to demonstrate and explain what you see on the screen displays. Helpful for getting familiar with menu screens and setup. Not sure if it is updated to Gen 2 models?
