Kershaw Leek Knife

Open your knife quickly and keep one hand free to grasp and manipulate objects with the superior quality of Kershaw’s Leek knife. The Speed-Safe assisted one-hand opening system swings the blade out smoothly from the handle when the liner is unlocked using the thumb stud or index-open assembly. Simply apply pressure with your thumb or on the back of the handle with your index finger, and the blade deploys. The innovative tip safety lock secures the blade to prevent any accidental opening. An internal frame lock operates with one hand for convenient closing as well. The Leek has a 440A stainless steel blade which has a 55-57 Rockwell hardness rating for optimum edge-holding performance plus the ability to take an edge with standard sharpening stones. The 410 stainless steel handle and liner withstands years of use in the harshest elements without corrosion or rust. Both the handle and blade have a bead-blasted non-glare finish. Removable, reversible belt clip for tip-up or tip-down carry. And if you’re looking for a knife with a little more flair, the rainbow version features a durable, scratch-resistant titanium-oxide coating that gives a prismatic effect with a blend of rainbow colors for a stylish touch. Rainbow model won the coveted Blade 2002 Overall Knife of the Year award. Made in the USA.

Unbelievable Kershaw Rainbow Leek Knife

The Leek knife is fantastic. Recently, I have purchased a few knives, and I have specifically been drawn to the fast action knives. I personally feel once you have carried one, it is very hard to go back to a normal knife. In my prior purchases, I covered several brands. The Leek knife is a marvel @ simplicity. It seems to have very few parts but is put together extremely well and the quality is high. The Rainbow colored knife WAS WELL WORTH DOUBLE BACK ORDER! It is a total showstopper, people who see it are in disbelief. The ONLY kink for me, was no serrated edge on Rainbow, other than that awesome.
