This is one of the handiest most useful little items you will ever have! It sharpens knives , both serrated and plain blades hair shaving sharp, is so lightweight and compact that you might forget that you are carrying it in your pocket, and the quality, design,and price are great.

A nice "quick fix" when out in the field

I got this to throw in my survival/ first aid kit when I am out in the field. While it didn't put quite a razor's edge on my SOG Field Pup, it did do a good job of keeping it quite sharp. Dont' expect to bring a blade back from the "dull dead" though, LOL. Hit the blade with this sharpener as it starts to get dull and it will keep your knife working. On the other side, it seems to work like a champ for putting a hair shaving edge on the Leatherman multi tools. It works great on my Wave. I think it's a good light weight, very compact sharpener for the field when weight and small size is an issue.

Best little pocket sharping I have come across

This is the lightest most compact sharpener I have used. The carbide tip cuts an edge fast and the ceramic creates a nice smooth edge. I believe it is a 25 degree angle. The flip our rod works great on serrated edges. I did all the knives in my house and my mom's in a very short time. Two of them were thrown in drawer because they were very dull. Not anymore! I keep it in my camping gear and carry it on all outings. I am throwing out my Lansky stuff soon.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS THING AND CONSIDER IT ON E THE TOP PURCHASES I HAVE MADE.
