It is hard to believe the great quality for the price. It is built like a Maglite. It only takes a few strokes to sharpen. I just purchased it so I can't comment on how long it lasts, but it works great out of the package.

Best Non Mechanical sharpener I ever used

Salesman at Cabelas told me this was the best cheap sharpener that he knows of......we tried it out on a couple of knives in the case....I was sold.....took it home and sharpened my fillet knives which are hard to sharpen, in minutes. I haven't used any of my stones since I got this little jewel. Well worth the money and does an excellent job....fast!

this sharpener is great to keep with you in the field. Keeps knives very sharp and is quick and easy to use. Much better quality than those cheap plastic ones.
