This product works great for knives that are already somewhat sharp. This product is not great for duller knives. Overall good product.

This is my first diamond sharpening stone. It will sharpen a dull knife very fast. I was concerned at first the diamond surface would wear off fast and fill with metal. Not so, after sharpening several knives it is still working great. I would recommend this Cabela's sharpening stone to anyone who sharpens their own knives.

For our cabin up north, I needed a knife sharpener that didn't need electricity!! This fit the bill perfectly. I would have scored it a 5 but there is an art to sharpening your knives by hand so I could only score it a 4. It gives our filit knives that extra edge that is so important.

this is one of the better stones i have bought i have probley 15 different stones and i like the diamond for the finer edges
