Not anything better on the market!
Date:
I have fished similar baits in the past with success. I saw this "bundle package" on sale on the Cabela's website at a price I couldn't resist.
Well, I found that these work as well or better than any similar bait on the market. Depending on the terrain and season, I have fished these along the bottom in open water and through grass/reeds along the shoreline. 90% of the time, I'm fishing them weightless, rigged weedless with a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG hook. I vary presentation between, slow rolling along the bottom, jerk/stop, or even buzzing it near the surface.
Bait seems soft enough to ensure a high rate of hook sets, in fact as a sit hear I am trying to remember if I have ever missed a strike using this bait. But, this comes at a price ... although in a bind, you might be able to "rethread" the hook after a few fish, they can get torn up pretty good and I can usually count on replacing the bait after 3 or 4 fish.
Has quickly become one of my "go to" baits and seldom fails to net me fish.
