Not Worth The Money!

We had been wanting an ice maker to take camping. Thought this would be perfect; however it did make ice in 10 minutes (about 3 cubes). What they don't tell you is that the ice basket is tiny; it has to be emptied frequently and the machine does NOT keep the ice frozen. You must empty the ice into a freezer. You might get enough ice to be useful if you sat next to the machine and emptied it into a freezer every 30 min. Sending it back!

don't waste your money

I have been wanting an ice maker for quite awhile. This unit looked good so I ordered one. Got it home, cleaned and added the water, plugged it in and it was so loud I couldn't hear the T.V. I called to talk with a rep and he said there was definately a problem. I sent it back and a week later had me a new one. Got it all set up and plugged in and it purred like a kitten. 45 minutes later I had a total of 9 medium ice cubes. Almost enough for a drink. At this rate it would take a week to make 28 pounds. sent it back and got me a refund. (I hope). this thing wouldn't even make a good boat anchor.

Fantastic Stainless Steel Ice Maker

Just reeived my Chard Ice Maker. Plugged it in, added water and in less than 10 minutes had my first batch of ice. I let it run overnight and this morning there was a full basket of ice. I like the LCD display and the stainless steel looks nice.

I had been looking at getting an ice maker since last summer when my neighbor at our RV park got one. He bought the plastic white one from Cabela's. We used it all the time for our coolers and drinks. When I looked at the white one at Cabela's, it was the same price and was not made of stainless steel and did not have the LED display??????

Anyway, so far this thing works perfect and I am looking forward to using it this summer. I'd recomend it to others.
