I purchased this product as a present to my wife. We both like ice cream very much. The problem is, if it is in freezer we enjoy it. In order to help control weight we do not purchase ice cream and keep it on hand. This does not set well with the grandkids, when they come to visit they would like to have some ice cream. Now that we have the ice cream maker all we have to do is keep the ingrediants in stock and in about 45 minutes we have the ice cream flavor they want. What is more surprising is the kids are so interested in the process they want to get involved in making of the ice cream. Perhaps this is the greatest benefit of all, plus the machine really works.

We love our ice cream maker. It is perfect for a spur of the moment dessert! We love trying the different flavors from the included recipes. We also enjoy making milkshakes with it!

I purchased this for my niece for her birthday. The shipping was great I received it in record time, but the product is terrible. We tried three recipes and followed the book exactly as it said. The ice cream would never get to the near freezing point enough that you could put in into a cone. The bowl it comes with starts to thaw before the ingredients are cold enough to be made into ice cream. Mind you, I did everything by the book. I would not recommend anyone buying this.
