I ordered two sets of these so that I could use these with my 2 1/2 year old and wife. We waited for them because they were back ordered, and when they arrived the only time they worked was if they were three feet from each other. Of course when that close all we got was feedback. I didn't expect them to be Motorola walk about quality, but I expected them to at least work from one bedroom to the next. I guess I'll have to teach him how to link to tin cans together with string. At least those will work and won't generate feedback. As a plus tin cans don't take batteries. To make the whole deal worse, the binoculars are worthless. Not only were they pretty much zero magnification, but all they did was distort what ever you were looking at like a 50 cent fun house mirror. Let's just say over all it was a huge disappointment. The only high point to this purchase was it's an excuse to travel to the nearest Cabelas store to return them so I don't have to mail them back.

I bought this set for my son who could hardly wait to get home and play with them. Unfortunately his excitement was short lived. The Walkie Talkies didn't work and you can't even see through the binoculars.
