The fleece is good (stops the wind), but it would be easier to just put a scarf on your young kid.

Great Gaiter

The gaiter is great, fits well and keeps the kids warm. Much safer than a scarf and I have recommended it to all my friends with small children. We used them during the below zero weather on the walks to school and it kept the neck and face warm.

It was just what he wanted

My 11-yr old has been asking for a neck gaiter for a while now. He has a very long neck and most gaiters can't reach low enough to cover his neck all the way down, or they don't reach up over his nose and ears. This gaiter is perfect for both. It is a little loose on him, but we found a way to make it work now AND it will continue to fit him as he grows. AND it was on sale! Thanks, Cabela's....my son loves it!
