The original Snapper Slapper offshore lure has a squid-like action, a phosphorescent head, planing wings and a stinger hook that's deadly on short-striking fish. It can be jigged or tipped with live bait to simulate a baitfish caught by a squid. Per each. Sizes: 1 oz., 3 oz., 5 oz., 7 oz. Colors:(007)White,

(032)Chartreuse/Blue,

I've used these jigs for big fluke in the northeast. They have a nice sway to them in current and hug the bottom where the big ones live. You won"t get a lot of hits when used for Fluke, but when you do get hit, they"re huge. The stinger hook system is definitely a major plus.
This is a great jig that produces continuous strikes. The pulsating action that the skirt produces draws in multiple species of reef dwellers. I have used it around wrecks and offshore rigs with the same positive results. The only draw back may be the stinger hook that will need to be replaced but that should not keep you from adding a couple of these to your tackle box!
