Cabela's Red Hook Roundhead Jigheads

Taking after our original Fishermen's Series Jigheads, these new red-hooked offerings add that extra bit of detail it takes when the fish are wanting something different from standard offerings. The barbed lead head collar holds soft-plastics. Per 25.

    After switching to a red hook round jighead I have discovered that I can out fish the regular wire round jighead approximately 3:1. The red hook seems to make a difference with most species of fresh water fish. I recommend Walleye fishermen to try them.

    Very reasonably priced jigs, buy extras when you're heading down to fish the river. The red hook may not really help when it comes to an aggressively feeding river 'eye, but it doesn't hurt either. The fact remains I out-fished my partners using these jigs!

    I had had multiple instances of these jigs breaking where the hook meets the lead. I was in mid fight with multiple walleye at lake Thompson when all of a sudden the line would go slack and i would reel in and the only thing left was a jig head. NO HOOK! I bought a couple packs of 25 since i thought this was such a great deal but have thrown out all my remaining jigs. Very disappointed in the quality of these jigs. Don't settle for cheap products if you're looking for a once in a lifetime catch because chances are this will not be able to reel it in.
