Rapala® Jigging Shad Rap®

Fished under the ice, or vertical jigged for suspended schools in open water or over submerged structure, the Jigging Shad Rap is a deadly addition to any angler’s arsenal. When imparted with a jigging action, this fat, shad-bodied lure moves with a circling motion on both the rise and fall. The sharper the upward snap is, the tighter the bait circles. At fixed depths, a vibrating action can induce strikes from lethargic fish. The center eyelet provides perfect balance for a better jigging presentation. Single reversed hooks on both ends have needle points and are aligned for strikes from all angles. The center treble hooks slow winter biters and can be tipped with your favorite bait. And with its zinc weighting, it gets down with a more natural fish-catching action. Ideal for a wide variety of fish including bass, pike, walleye, lake trout and more. Per each.

    Tipped with minnow head, it's a can't resist for walleye. Restock these every year for annual trip to Michigan UP (pike like then too!). 7 Walleye on ice over two evenings! Prefer Shad style!

    i bought this last winter in glow clown color. it works great . i have used for cappie fishing and have cought some 151/2 in cappie with it is also good walleye fishing.

    Rapala's Jigging shad raps

    Turned out to be the hottest bait in Central and Southwestern Ohio for crappies of all things. They would hit like Walleyes and often take the whole bait in their mouth. Fished Green Glow then went to Glow Clown then Glow Perch as the day progressed. Had my best year ever for Crappies and 70% of my large fish came on this bait.

    works good.. same as the older Rapala® but the hooks are better and the tail fins seam to be thicker and wont break as easy.
