These are the deadliest little shad imitations Northland® lures has ever created. The holographic shad tail body swims and wiggles just like a real baitfish, and the lead jighead has a streamlined shape that cuts through current and resists snagging. I almost exclusively use the Northland Mimic Minnow for Ice fishing and have have had very good success. The Mimic Minnow attracts a variety of panfish and is a fairly durable lure. I like the size variety provided in the kit, and have experienced great results by switching lure sizes rather than color/pattern. I would recommend these lures to any angler who targets finicky panfish.

Too real to be Mimic

I have tried other swimbaits but the Mimic has been the one to give me the best results.As it swims through the water ,the flicker from the spin jig plus the all too natural vibration and the true to life appearance was more than enough to tempt any pan fish in the area to strike at it. I was truly amazed at how well the fish reacted...As I cast over the edge of the weed beds , the fish hit the MIMIC with a ferocity like I had not seen in pan fish...These spin jig are now an intricarte part of my fishing arsenal...If you do not have these in your tackle box, why are you reading this? Get some now!!!!
