Cabela's Smokehouse Jerky Seasonings – 15 lbs.

Season and cure up to 15 lbs. of meat to create tasty jerky that's great for on-the-go hunters and anglers. These kits feature easy-to-follow recipes and step-by-step instructions; the only hard part is choosing which flavor you like best. Each kit includes three pre-measured packets for turning 5 lbs. of meat into jerky. You can make three small batches (5 lbs. each) or one large batch of 15 lbs. This kit was designed and has instructions for brining both whole-muscle jerky and ground-meat jerky. Use with wild game, beef, pork, poultry or fish. Basic recipe and instructions included on the bag.

This jerky seasoning is a quality product. My personal favorite is the original flavor. It blends well with Hickory wood smoke. I have used it with Beef and Venison, both had outstanding flavor.

I bought the assorted pack not sure if we would like the taste of the jerky. Well it is worth buying. Have sent the jerky to family and friends and all have had rave reviews and wish that we would send them more. Will buy this product again.

I read a lot of positive reviews about Cabela's Jerkey Seasoning but still wasn't prepared for just how good it was.
I used thinly sliced strips of deer meat and followed the easy instructions. I used my Bradly DIgiital smoker and was amazed at the results.
I made the recommended 5lbs of Jerky on a Saturday and word spread quickly how good it was. My parents, in-laws, friends and family all had to try it. It was gone by Sunday.
I have since made two more batches and each has been consistently good. Yummy!

We've been making venison jerky for a few years now and decided to try the Cabela's Jerky seasoning(hickory and teriyaki flavors) when we saw it on sale. We weren't too impressed with either one. It's not that they are bad, they just aren't very flavorful. We marinated the teriyaki overnight and the hickory for about 30 hours and still didn't feel like we got full flavor. I think if you like a mild taste this would be good... It's just not for us.
