Surprisingly Warm
Date:
This is super light in weight, as described, and surprisingly warm. It's not intended to be a liner, but I bought it to zip into a gore-tex shell that I already had. Wearing that combo over nothing but a polo shirt today, I pumped gas in 20degree temps with a windchill of 0 - and I was *comfortable*! (at least what the jacket covered :) I only gave it 4 stars because when worn as an outer jacket, the thin skin might rip easily if caught; it also seemed to shed feathers a bit - but this admittedly was the first wearing, so that may have just been some leftover stuffing from manufacturing. I would strongly recommend this jacket otherwise.

Light, cold and size issue.
Date:
I've already got 3 jackets by Cabela's and usually order size L. However this jacket has much shorter sleeves than I need, so I'd need Large Tall. Also, I estimate usage of it not colder than 0 Celsius. It is very light for winter: another Cabela's 650 jacket is much warmer! Do not recommend.

What a coat!
Date:
I bought one for my son for his birthday and liked the looks so got one for myself. We recently took them on a hunting trip and with evening temps in the teens the coat was the warmest I've ever owned. However, I would recommend wearing something over it when in the woods because the outer shell is quite thin and briar's would reek havoc. For the price its a great value.
