Ritchie Sport Dash Mount Compass
Date:
Drill a 2" hole with a hole saw and slip compass into dash. Tighten locking nut. Install a positive and negative wire from your wiring lighting circuit and your set to go. With todays modern day electronics, this is all the compass one needs. One just can't beat Cabela's pricing. Ritchie Sport Dash Mount Compass works great.

Easy to install, don't know why they did not include an adjustment for declination as a Ritchie compass I have on my other boat has this adjustment. That's why only 4 of 5 stars.

Small and practical unit for small craft open fishing boat. The new model mounting ring (old modes were threaded & much better) does not lock up as the previous model and is subject to loosing with vibration of boat--- just a quick twist secure a gain but somewhat pain to have to keep a eye on it. Good value for the $$ when mounting space and basic compass navigation is needed.
