    Portable battery gauge
    Date:
bought it and tried it out on my 12V deepcycle batteries for my trolling motor. I gave me the percent left in the batteries which is what I wanted. I have been looking for something to measure the charge in my batteries and this did exactly what I wanted. I had no idea how long to charge my batteries because the charger isn't exact and the battery manufactures recommend using a multimeter but that doesn't tell you how long to charge them without damaging them.

    Poor Quality
    Date:
I purchased the two battery gauge. After being on the water twice it quit working all together. I have left it in since it looks better than a large hole in my console. Maybe I can find a different one which will fit the hole and will work.

    Cheap Molded Plastic
    Date:
This is another classic example of cheap 'Imported' junk. Received the 'Defective' meter that already had the paper bubbling on the inside of the meter face.
This meter is made of very light molded plastic, and requires a return toggle switch addition to the circuit so the meter is on for only a few seconds.
