Mosquito Magnet® Traps

Mosquitoes and other biting insects are attracted to the carbon dioxide we exhale. The Mosquito Magnet converts propane into carbon dioxide with its patented catalytic conversion technology. When mosquitoes, black flies, biting midges and other biting pests get close enough to the Mosquito Magnet trap, the patented Counterflow™ technology vacuums these pests into the net where they dehydrate and die within 24 hours. Around-the-clock operation is silent, odorless and effective no matter what weather condition. You will notice results within seven to 10 days. Allow four weeks for an even greater decrease in the insect population. Both models are fueled by a standard 20-lb. propane cylinder (not included).

  • Patriot – Protects up to 1 acre, making it ideal for most yards. Refill the propane cylinder and replace attractant cartridge and net every 21 days. Comes with a 50-ft. power cord, 10 burying clips for cord, Octenol cartridge, self-contained net and instructional DVD. Propane cylinder not included.

  • Independence™ – A cordless unit that delivers the same performance as the Patriot. Ideal for big yards and pool areas. The unit’s electrical components run on four C batteries that will typically last all summer. Comes with an Octenol cartridge, self-contained net, QuickClear cartridge, batteries and instructional DVD. Propane cylinder not included.

  • Executive – The Executive incorporates Smart Technology with advanced system diagnostics to save fuel and enhance efficiency. Cordless units that deliver the same performance as the Patriot,  but cover up to an acre and have added features. Ideal for big yards and pool areas. It has four fuel-saving modes, a day/night sensor, a temperature sensor that shuts the unit down and restarts it based on temperatures mosquitoes are active in, and a rechargeable battery with a remote battery charger and low-battery indicator. Propane cylinder not included.

No more misquitos!

We built a new home in the country. Woods surround our house along with tall grass. We could not sit out on our patio at 2:00 in the afternoon because the mosquitoes were just terrible. I found the mosquito traps and set two of them up. I couldn't believe how many mosquitoes were in the net. There must have been hundreds of thousands, the nets were packed full. Within about two weeks time we could not only sit out at 2:00 but right up until dark and not be bothered. Before the magnets you could stand out and listen to the hum of mosquitoes. Now, we have silence.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH WE BOUGHT ONE FOR THE FRONT YARD TOO. I LIVE IN ALASKA WITH MOSQUITOS BIG ENOUGH TO SEE THEIR SHADOW ON THE GROUND AS THEY FLY AROUND YOU READY FOR RE-FUELING. WORTH EVERY PENNY MAKES OUR DECK ACTUALLY USABLE AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO SMELL LIKE DEET. I HAVE COLLECTED A GALLON SIP LOCK BAG IN THE FREEZER. FLASH FREEZE THE TRAP TO STUN THEM SO YOU CAN POUR THEM OUT AND NO ONE ESCAPES. CAN FEED DEAD TO THE BIRDS.
