The other reviewer nearly took the words out of my mouth. My Father hooked me on fishing at a young age and I have tried to do the same with my son. The simplicity and quality of these in line spinners allow for any condition. They go deep, shallow, very flashy, a lot of vibration. I started with Mepps, and seemed to have tried most every style since as most anglers have. You have those "go-to" lures that just produce most every time. Several of these little lures fit in most anything, an Ultra lite 2-piece or travel rod, and your set - anytime any where.

I've reviewed and bragged on other mepps here...it's hard to imagine a fish that can't be caught with small Mepps spinners.
Cabelas's puts these up at a nice discount too. the comet minnow and spin fly alone make them a great kit. I put these 5 in an old film canister...add a collapseable rod/reel...and I've got the in-truck-anytime or fit-in-backpack-for-the-day set up for hiking or even riding dirtbikes when we come up on a remote spot.
You just can't go wrong with Mepps.
