Spinner bait for South East Alaska

This is really the only spinner bait we used in fresh water in South East Alaska for Pink and Silver salmon. We were there too early to legally use anything but artificial lures. This lure worked over and over again. Keep a few extra if you are after salmon in fresh water. Orange was the only color we used with silver or gold spinner.

kept the lines tight

I bought several of these before my trip to Kodiak,AK. After a few hours of salmon fishing with my dad, uncle (who lives there) and nephew I was the first to land a nice 10lb silver. Not only did this lure catch the first salmon of the trip but it continued to keep my lines tight the entire time. I guess this will be the last time dad and uncle give me a hard time about bringing my lures on our fishing trips.
