Ready Rig Ice Pack

It's never been easier to get all your rods, tip-ups and tackle out on the ice. Just load up this spacious pack and strap it on your back. The main compartment is 34" high and has a zippered bottom opening that makes it easy to load rod and reel combinations. Detachable pack measures 4.5"D x 12"W x 20"H and has two external storage pockets, a mesh pouch and a carry handle. Main pack also has an elastic loop for your "chipper dipper" and two external pouches with hook-and-loop closure. Both packs are constructed of tough 600-denier polyester. Backpack straps are fully adjustable. (Rod combos not included).

Love it! Works great for all my ice fishing gear. I do think the zipper on the bottom will fail. They should have added buckles to the bottom. I would like to have access to the top as well. But overall happy with it. But then again I have only had the item for a few months and only 1 ice fishing trip!!!!

Very nice unit! it has many spots to out your favorite stuff. I like the eyelet on the top for hanging it in the shack.I'm looking forward to using it next year. being red it is very easy to see on the ice. Thanks again cabelas for offering another great product for a great price!!!!

most useful fishing backpack

This backpack is awesome, I cut light duty 1 1/2" PVC pipe sleeves for added rod protection and I am able to fit 3 jigging rods and reels, 2 schooley rods, and 2 polar ice tip-ups and still have room to take along extra mittens, hat, lunch and a couple drinks in the upper section, plus carry bait pucks in the side pouch. This carries comfortably on my back, and also fits well in my sled. I know I won't be on an ice fishing trip without this backpack on any future trips....if you make one purchase to improve your ice fishing equipment, buy the Ready Rig.....you will not be dissappointed!!!!!!

like the pack

Love the pack, plenty of storage for all my gear like lights, lures and such. Really like how it seperates into 2 seperate packs. only issue iv'ed had is the material where rods go might be made of something else .I have had lures come loose and get stuck in the nylon and either i cut the hook or the nylon.
