Purchased the 10" unit. Paid for fast shipping. When it arrived the battery holder had come unglued inside the case, the battery had poked a hole in the back of the monitor. Sent it back to Cabelas, for another unit, when it arrived the battery in it had come unglued as well. No damage to the monitor this time. Put the camera in the water one time and it leaked water inside. Took it back for a refund. This is a very poor design for an underwater camera.

My boyfriend and I purchased this camera and used it once. Charged it when we got home and went to take it out again. We got to the lake and set it up. The screen did not come on. The battery had a charge. Just the screen would not come on. Very disappointing. This was my new toy. I am exchanging it for a new one. Hopefully this one will work more than once. I was impressed with the picture, the screen size and the price.

Pros....screen size, price
Cons.....have to physically unplug the battery connection or it will discharge
....no way to fasten camera to a mount to keep it aimed
...no output jack...wish I would have read the Q & A,s., you can't video tape onto a camcorder and email video/ pictures to friends.
..had to turn the colour down so much for clarity it was almost B&W
...first item from Cabelas that I had to send back.

I just purchased this10 inch camera after having a 5 in black and white camera i cant tell you how happy i am with this camera everyone in our group loved it and are planning to purchas them the battery lasted from 8 am till 5pm and still had some power left i was impressed this is a great tool to have our first time ice fisherman was able to see how fish reacted to his jig its a great price just compare other cameras
