Mako 10'' ice auger
Date:
Purchased this on Nov.27th 2011 hard to start would not reach full RPM or cut the ice very fast called customer service they said to adjust the throttle cable, that fixed the idle and RPM problems. Out again and the auger would not cut very well so I called customer service again they said they changed the blades to a turbo blade and it shaves the ice ha ha ha well I found that if you rock the auger back and forth it cuts better. "Last straw\u201d out on the ice Feb 3rd 2012 the pull start rope broke. This auger is only 60 or so days old it\u2019s going back.

Maybe i got a dud
Date:
Mine is junk. Cold blooded and very tough to start. The gommet never stays in so there is some gas leaking issues. Didnt have much luck right out of the box. Tough to get a good idle. Have had it in a couple times should have just replaced it.

Make Auger
Date:
The auger is perfect. Starts very easily. Powerful engine. First two hours is the break-in period so the clutch slips a little. Hopefully that goes away after a few more uses. Otherwise I love it. By the way, it was a gift from my parents.
