Director™ mesh harness for enhanced ventilation. Removable waistbelt. MP3 pocket with water-resistant zipper. 600 cu. in. of cargo space. Imported.
I bought this pack on the recomendation of a friend who had a similar pack. I was a little put off by the price, had been hoping to spend more around $75 but when we compared features decided the MULE was the way to go.
I have been very happy with the pack and the reservior, the weight is distributed so well by the harness that I don't even notice it. As I have nerve damage in my shoulder I cannot carry a large amount of weight on my back without pain but with this pack I have not had any trouble. It is very comfortable and I really appreciate all the extra space in the pack.
I have already recommended this pack to co-workers and friends and will continue to do so.
I've used camelbak products extensively over the years from a bear hunt on Kodiak Island, Alaska to climbing Mount Monadnock in my back yard here in NH and now with the M.U.L.E. while riding my bike on long trips. You don't even know you have it on, you have enough water for whatever the event is and enough storage capacity to carry all your gear for a day trip. Higly recommend this product.
I purchased a M.U.L.E. which has this same 3L 100oz. Omega reservoir. The Reservoir leaked from the outset. Camelbak's (1-man show, leave a message we'll call you back some time in the next 48 hours) warranty department, sent me o-rings that didn't work. Next they made me pay to send back my reservoir before they sent me a new reservoir. This after she asked if it was the Omega res. since they have had issues with this res. For the price and the name behind it I would expect a better quality product and service. The cheap high sierra I purchased 3 yrs ago still functions fine. (as a side note you can't beat Cabela's cust service they are the best)
