Bought two of these packs about 5 weeks ago. My wife and I use them 4 days a week hiking mild to extreme mountain preserve trails to stay in shape for turkey hunting. We shopped around and compared them to all others on the market. This is the only unit I found with no bad reviews for leaking or taste. The pack is well made and durable (and the only one I found in Mossy Oak). It fits well and even adds to padding under my turkey vest. Getting the black closure clip on the top tucked away is tight but I highly recommend this hydration pack. We love ours and wouldn't think of hiking without them. I do plan to give another performance review at 90 days use.
I use this pack 3x per week on hikes and bike rides. I particularly like the zipper pouch that extends the full length of the pack. Great value hydration pack.
I have this for almost a year and use it a lot when I go mountain biking to the Montes de Malaga Natural Park, to "show my colors". Also my kids use it when we go trekking and I'm carring a backpack. The look is nice, very lightweight and confortable.
My main complain is the same as Elk hunter's: the mouth is big, but the access to it is complicated and it's easy to spill some water, that would end up on your back. This is specially bad when you want to refill it in the field. It's also complicated to remove the plastic bag.
It has a pocket for small or flat objects. I carry a small tire pump, my cellphone, maybe my leatherman and little more. If you load it too much, you must reduce the amount of water you'll carry. The cord cargo panel is usefull to keep a small jacket or rainwear. But of course, if you want more room, get a backpack and not an hydration pack.
