Great lightweight wader pants!
Date:
I'm always skeptical about purchasing foot ware online, but thanks to the few good reviews I took a shot at it, and couldn't be more pleased. I used these waders on a recent Moose hunt in Alaska, temperatures were between 40 and 55 degrees, mostly rain for a 6 day hunt. We had one river crossing that was just too deep for regular waders, and very wet brush to deal with. My hunting partner bought a fairly expensive set of lightweight waders, and brought his neoprene chest waders for crossing the river, and was miserable the entire trip, constantly having to wear raingear over his waders to keep his midsection dry, which caused him to sweat to the point where his hip boots were wet. The Milennium wader jeans gave me no problems, hiking as much as 10 miles a day through thick alders, heavy sand, swamp, and sharp puckerbrush. No rips, tears, and much more breathable than any other wader that I've ever worn. The boots fit good as well, I will probably get an insole with a touch more padding however. For reference, I'm 5'10", 230 lbs, and wear a size 10.5 to 11 shoe. I ordered the size 11 and it fits great with 1 pair of regular (or thin) hunting socks. Thick wool socks would make them a bit tight. As for the waist fitment, I had room for light layers, when I wore a thick sweatshirt, these were a touch tight around the midsection, so on cold mornings, I would wear a thermal top inside, and a hoodie over the pants and under my jacket. These are essentially just a light shell, which allows the user the option to wear layers to keep warm or cool. I found that just one pair of thermals, or even a pair of shorts was just right for hiking in these temperatures.

Everything I Hoped For
Date:
Great for hunting waterfowl and fishing shallow streams. Comfortable, light (breathable), and repel burrs. Work fine in cold weather with some layering. Excellent for those mild fall/spring days. I've had these for two seasons and these waders have held up well.

Best Wader Ever
Date:
Purchased these for this season and they have out performed any other hip boot I have used in the past 40 years. The best part is you can tighten the shoe strings real tight and when you walk in that mud sucking mud these boots never come off. Very comfortabe to sit in all day, feel just like regular jeans. Easy to get into for us old folks.

Yakutat Alaska Bear Hunt, Flawless
Date:
I purchased these waders for a ten day Yakutat, Alaska bear hunt. I wore these waders everyday in very demanding conditions. If you have never been to Alaska it is WET, if you\u2019re not in water it is raining and not just light rain but driving rain. These waters wore like pants, I never once regretted having them on or felt uncomfortable or cumbersome walking or stalking. In addition, to the pants being great the boot was very comfortable and warm. They were easier than any other wader to put on and take off. I will never buy a different pair again.
