Cabela's designers listened to your suggestions when engineering these top-of-the-line Dry-Plus® waders for
hard-core waterfowlers. Waterproof, breathable Dry-Plus throughout keeps you comfortable and dry from sunrise to
sundown. The built-to-last four-layer Dry-Plus upper allows the internal moisture from walking and setting decoys to escape. Rugged eight-layer lower-leg construction yields unparalleled puncture resistance and durability. We replaced the traditional-style wader boots with our trail-inspired lace-up performance boots for maximum comfort on long-distance treks across the marsh or to the lake. The lace-up nubuck boots provide a custom fit that improves foot-to-sole traction and balance on endurance hunts in deep mud. Lightweight EVA midsole arch support cushions each step. PVC-reinforced heel and toe areas resist wear. Speed laces protected by camo gravel guards prevent laces from snagging on brush or submerged limbs. Aggressive Traction-Lug rubber soles deliver sure-footed wet and dry traction in prairies, swamps and ponds. Lined for warmth with 400-gram Thinsulate™ Insulation combined with 3.5mm neoprene for extra warmth. Internal patches on areas with multiple seams seal out heat-robbing elements. Back seams on legs are crafted to prevent wear. Adjustable camo suspenders with low-profile buckles are set low for obstruction-free gun placement when seconds count. Large front-flap, top-loading chest pocket with fleece-lined handwarmer pockets. Mesh external pocket. Includes two D-rings to keep multiple calls at your fingertips. Imported.

Solid waders for the limited use so far. In very cold water liners are needed, but in cool to warm wader they are expected to be okay (ask me when the ice is the rest of the way out). VERY comfortable with solid footing, and easy to clean. A dozen trips to the wetland, over and around brush, sticks, logs, and still dry. My borther has a pair that I borrowed and was impressed enough with my use and his recommendation to buy a pair of my own. Recommended.
I have been wearing these waders all season - with at least 150+ hours on them and they have been great. Feet stay warm in the cold and not to hot in the warmth. I dont get cold in them and they have great movement with very little to know restriction. getting on and off a bike and riding is super easy and walking through thick mud is a dream. Cabelas absolute has fixed any leak problems in the earlier generations. Mine worked so well two of my buddies bought them also and they love them as well. They Rock
Bought these waders late into last season. What a difference between these and the 5mm neoprene I was wearing! These waders are extremely lightweight and comfortable. Switching from Neo to these, the first thing I noticed, after the difference in weight, was the fact that I noticed the water temp. Not a big deal, just need another layer in the colder weather. These are much more flexible and easier to wade in. I'm halfway through my second season with these, and am still pleased with them. I did get a small "cut" in the waist area, and with the provided patch and some aquaseal, I was back in action and 100% dry again. The boot is very snug, which is a plus in silty conditions, but it needs a little more foot support when standing in the blind. I put a pair of arch supports in mine, and it has helped. I had my dad try these one day when we hunted together, and he went and bought a pair that night! They are a little overpriced, in my opinion, but watch for a sale and buy them then.
I own a duck's unlimited project and hunt in these waders about 25 times a year. I have gotten 2.5 seasons out of 2 pairs. The first pair had a leak around the boot which seems to be a common occurrence reading the other reviews. Cabela's replaced those. The second pair has lasted almost two seasons but the sole of the boot tore off one of the shoes and is difficult to repair. I think for this kind of money you're better off buying some good stocking foot waders from Simm's or somebody and a decent boot. A little more expensive up front but cheaper in the long run.
