Cabela's Bog Buster™ Custom Ankle-Fit Hip Boots - Realtree MAX-4®

The key to these versatile hippers is our revolutionary three-way, Velcro®-adjustable straps that can be loosened for walking or unfastened when you want to pull them off at the end of the day. But when the mud starts tugging at them, all you need to do is cinch the nylon web strap tight for a snug, secure fit. By cutting the traditional boot foot down to an ankle-high design and using neoprene for the uppers, we were able to significantly reduce the weight to less than 6 lbs. per pair, lighter than your favorite hunting boots. Because the neoprene extends all the way inside the hand-laid rubber boots like a pair of stockingfoot waders, they retain more warmth, ensure 100% waterproof protection and surround your feet in cushioning support. Bob outsole.

must have for alaska
Date:
Great boots ! Used them last year on an Alaskan Moose hunt and its a "gotta have it". Their light weight, comfortable and quiet, everything your looking for on a fly-in hunt. My guide liked them too, so I gave them to him and bought another pair for this year. My hunting buddy also bought a pair for this year. Happy hunting !

Oustanding Performance
Date:
I purchased these waders for a trip to Alaska to hunt sheep. I did not realize how much time I would be spending in the boots and the number of river crossings that I would be making. Each day I crossed one river 25 times leaving and returning to camp traveling around 3 miles each way. The waders fit great, held up extremely well in the brush and river crossings. These waders are light weight, durable and are well worth the money.

Great Service
Date:
i have been buying the camo Bog Buster hip boots for over 10 years. The ankle fit is a great feature for duck ponds in my area of Texas. I highly recommend this design and the quality of this product. I use these hip boots for essentially the entire duck season. I wear chest waders when the weather is extremely cold. Otherwise, the Bog Busters are the ticket!

The Bog Buster stays on in the muck
Date:
The Bog Buster hip waders stay on in the muck. I am a spring creek jump shooter for Mallards. When in the muck they stay on. Work well with snow shoes. This is my 3 rd pair. They are not barbed wire proof, but patch with wet suit glue. Tips: Put on and remove in a way that protects the heel seam from stress for the longest life. When in a canoe the belt loops and ankle buckle are unsnapped. They come off faster that way.
