in south ga. "Tinks 69" seems to be the scent of choice.but hunters dont realize what they are missing with the effectiveness of this product! in the heat and humidity we deal with down here.The thickness of the scent actually resembles HONEY only it actually works!! i have used it for several years with positive results.whether its a manmade synthetic or all natural im not sure. but what i can tell you is it DOES NOT spook deer. many times i have noticed deer(mature bucks and does)come out of a thicket with their noses in the air and walk on a beeline straight to where it was applied.my own way of increasing the effectiveness of it is use a rubberband and wrap a hand warmer around an open bottle when it heats up.take the saftey off cause it wont be long.i recommend it to anyone looking for a scent that actually works. especially in the pressured deep south.
