Just had my first elk hunt, last fall, in Montana. It was a wilderness hunt on horseback 15 miles in. First elk on the ground and I am hooked...many more elk hunts in my future!! I took a small backpack for my daypack. My guide asked who had brought the parachute? Way too big. I think this is just the ticket. It is very comfortable. The straps do loosen up a bit after some hiking, but I did not find it bothersome to adjust along the way. Well done!!
Tried numerous fanny packs and this one really fits the bill. not to big,not to small, very Comfortable to wear. only improvement needed is on the belt cinches. this fanny pack is a winner for the hunter who likes to hunt daylight to dark
This fanny pack is larger than the old one I had, but the buckles still leave something to be desireed. Once adjusted, they have a tendancy to slip. Not good when your out trecking in the wilderness. Unless I am doing something wrong, but that's the way the buckles came. I found, that once adjusted to the right size, a piece of tape to keep them from slipping.
