Engineered for hunters who want to go fast and light, this pack merges the best attributes of a hydration pack, day pack and hunting vest into one versatile unit. The expansion system opens into a tunnel for an optional side scabbard using PALS/MOLLE compatible webbing. Carry the pack around your waist using the pullout hip belt. The deployable bird bag alleviates the need to carry an additional bird bag. It also features a deep pocket for a tripod, an organizer pocket and a grapple compression strap that holds equipment in place. Great Bag !

I've had my bag for 2 years now and I'm not the least bit disapointed. Very light, Practical hunting bag. The extra straps are great ! I'm able to tie down jackets / under layers with out a problem. The game bag that un-folds from the bottom is amazing.

Great when packing light

This pack is very nice when you don't need to pack much extra bulk like extra clothing. They list it as 745cu but the bird bag stores in the bottom of the main compartment and takes up the lower 3" or so. I have a 1280cu Camelback that seems to store 3x as much as this one. It is comfortable and the narrow design keeps your back cool. I really like way the pack rides, but don't consider it quite big enough for a full day in the mountains. This pack could be greatly improved by adding an external water bottle pocket and compression system or Molle webbing on the bottom for rolling up extra clothes and attaching them. I also have an Eberlestock X1E I use in the mountains and really wish they had a size right between these two. Consider the capacity as a mid-size fanny pack.

perfect day pack

this pack was great especially the hydro pack? Scabbard was perfect for 26 inch rem. might be good idea to add the gun cover to protect from rain, snow and also when you driving in rough terrain protects gun. The scabbard also helped when climbing steep terrain. Plenty of room for range finder, spotting scope, food, flashlight, and knives. Pockets perfect for hunting lic., lighter, shells, keys or any small items that need to be at your finger tips. plenty of straps for attaching extra jacket and mesh bag perfect for packing meat. Friends had bigger packs that had too much room and were bulky. This pack carries all you need and want on your back for a day.
