Great pack and frame
Date:
Cabela's Extreme Alaskan Outfitter Pack with Frame. This pack has plenty of room for anything you need on your hunting trip. We packed into the woods in Alaska last week with everything for the day and items for an overnighter if we had to stay out. Plenty of pockets and pouches inside and outside the pack. Carrying this pack is very comfortable while hunting. I didn't use the water pouch but it could be handy when needed. Highly recommend this one.

Great pack
Date:
I have used this pack for the last five years putting more than 400 miles under my belt with this on my back. I just replaced the bag this year as a bear damaged it getting at some goodies I forgot to stuff in my bear container one night. The frame has the best suspension system I have ever used in more than 30 years of packing. The bag is strong and durable.
The bag easily detaches and reattaches for packing game out.
I also fish on most of my trips and the design easily accomodates rods as well as guns, in fact you can carry both on the same trip.
Buy this pack, spend the time to set it up and understand all it's functions and you will find it a pleasure to use. Great pack!!!

Super Frame Pack
Date:
I tried a few other frame packs and this one was the most comfortable and seems to be infinately ajustable. It far surpasses my old yard sale pack. I took it on a sheep hunt this fall and put in more than 60 miles over 5 days in the mountains. This pack was comfortable the whole time and never dug into my shoulders, back, or hips. I was able to strap both my rifle and bow onto the pack for hands free climbing in tricky areas. The pack is removable from the frame and works great for packing out game quarters. I am very pleased with this pack.

Extreme Alaskan Outfitter Pack
Date:
Absolutely love this pack - it's about half the weight of similar packs. On my latest outing the weight savings on the pack alone allowed me to stay an extra couple of days. Pack is very comfortable and shoulder and belt adjustments are easy to use and have a great range of adjustment. The flexibilty to drop the main pack and go strickly as a freighter frame provided me with the best of both worlds.
