Good Choice For Day Packers
Date:
Used the pack for 21 days in the Montana Rockies elk hunting. Light weight, water never froze up, easy to take off & on. I'd recommend for what it is made for, day packing. Works great.

Very good pack
Date:
Received this as a gift to replace my old Redhead brand pack which had straps rip hanging from my treestand. It was recommended by a friend and does it ever live up to the Cabelas name. VERY durable and has the right amount of room as needed. The outside "flap" part is great as you can strap your heavy top or jacket to it while hiking to your treestand and not have to sweat wearing it. Can't say I'm crazy about the hydration system, but I don't care for any of those bite valve type systems. Rather just drink from a bottle. Extremely strong waterproof zippers. Very good job, Cabelas. Has convinced me to simply buy my gear from you guys solely from now on.

Thought bag would be a waste of money, but was well worth every penny. Wise investment if you have a long hike.

Great archery pack
Date:
I had last years model in the open country camo and this years model is a definite upgrade. I wish it still came in the Seclusion 3D Open Country. The open mesh against your back is an improvement from the foam padding which really caused sweating. This one has a wire frame which holds the pack out from the mesh. The accessory pouch is a nice addition. Source brand hydration is by far the best. The one that comes with these packs is a lesser model hydration bladder without the lid. It still works fine. The mouthpiece is what really makes it the best. The shoulder straps are different this time and are narrower which is better. They angle differently but it turned out to be an improvement. I like the way it carries the weight on your hips but I can see that if you are a taller person the waist strap would go across your belly. All in all for a shorter man this is a great little pack and there is plenty of room to draw your bow without interference. The one down side in this model is that the zipper on the main area only goes from one side over the top but not down the other side like the previos model, but I can live with it. For the price, it's a good pack.
