These cage traps are made for the occasional needs of homeowners and gardeners. The new design makes it a snap to set and release with just one hand. The sturdy wire mesh is galvanized for maximum resistance to rust and corrosion. Smaller mesh openings allow for fewer escapes. Fully assembled and ready for use, Havahart® cage traps come in models sized for a variety of animals. Small for rabbits, squirrels and skunks. Large for armadillos, raccoons and woodchucks.

    Bought this live trap to catch a squirrel in my attic. It took less than 2 days to trap it alive and release it into the woods away from my house. Don't use peanut butter, use cut up apples, they can't resist and easy to clean the cage for later use.

    I have a squirrel family in our new house/backyard. just moved in and i see 10 squirrels a day. my lawn? looks like its been a golf driving range. holes EVERYWHERE from them burrying and digging up nutts. i caught 2 in 2 days, banana and peanutt butter. i wish it was a few bucks cheaper, thats the only con. anyway works great. slowly im relocating these tree rats to the local park.

    I bought this and caught 6 squirrels in 4 days. So easy to use and never harmed the animal. One thing to note is that it is easy to adjust the sensitivity of the trap by simply placing a thin object under the handle that sets the trap (changing the thickness of the object easily and quickly adjusts the sensitivity).
